We have implemented an enhanced AI Anti-cheat system and in-game video monitoring for pro mode. The AI Anti-cheat system uses advanced multi-model algorithms in Aracade and Pro Mode to detect any irregularities in gameplay, ensuring all players adhere to the rules. In-game video monitoring allows for closer oversight during high-stakes tournaments to ensure that competitions are conducted fairly.

In the spirit of sports and community-centric games, Checkmate has established the Community Treasury. Our model is designed to be fair, transparent, and geared towards sustainable growth, with a share of Checkmate's ongoing revenue allocated to support initiatives and the Checkmate community.
The Community Treasury receives:
100% of treasury drops
50% of Alpha Pre-sale and Public Sale net revenue
50% of Checkmate and participating marketplace secondary sales royalties
50% of all in-season marketplace fees

Fair Play Lab
Checkmate has established the Fair Play Innovation Lab with the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII), Szuperchess and Tencent Cloud.
The lab is focused on protecting the play of today and tomorrow.
Ahead of our Alpha drop, we're playing testing with the Asian Chess Federation and the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII).
Asian Chess Federation International Arbitrator Championship ⚡
In February, the Asian Chess Federation International Arbitrators competed against each other to test our platform and themselves. The Asian Chess Federation (ACF) is the governing body for chess across 53 countries in Asia, Middle East and Oceania.
In addition to Checkmate's annual Arcade and Pro calendar, the Asian Chess Federation and our chess and esports federation partners will run speed chess tournaments on Checkmate, providing more opportunities for players.
Our partnership with Checkmate will allow the Asian Chess Federation to deliver competitive online tournaments and increase opportunities for our players. A key determining factor in the decision to partner with Checkmate was their commitment to improving the integrity of online chess and their ability to successfully create a solution that satisfies ACF's vision for the future.

🤝 Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute x Checkmate
We were recently excited to announce a new partnership with The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII) to combat cheating in online chess.
The collaboration had been in the works since we acquired Szuperchess, a company known for its groundbreaking Computer Vision Anti-Cheat technology. The seven-person AAII team works alongside our internal development team and Szuperchess founder Joan Buch Prades as part of Checkmate’s Fair Play Innovation Lab.
AAII is a world leader in artificial intelligence research, Australia's largest AI Research Institute, and is bringing its A-team to Checkmate's Fair Play Lab.

Fair Play Show-Down
PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS WANTED
In collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII), and North Bengal Chess Academy (India), we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Blitz Swiss tournament in April as part of our Fair Play and final Alpha Play Testing.
We invite external players to express interest in participating, regardless of skill level.
As a token of appreciation, all tournament participants will receive an annual Checkmate Pro Pass valued at USD$99.
Your participation and feedback will contribute to ongoing Fair Play Research conducted by the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute. This tournament also provides a valuable opportunity for Checkmate to gather additional player feedback before our Alpha launch in May.
